The BT4A Phender Roads, aka the Sticky City Synth is a synthesiser developed by some of Australia’s leading town planning theorists, modular synthesis innovators and Fremantle’s very own leaders in car-counting technology, Metrocount. The team have developed a traffic generated synthesiser that can turn even the most desolate, auto-mobile dependent public spaces in to vibrant, 24/7 destinations.
To coincide with the installation, BT4A will present a curated evening of improvised music from their favourite electronic musicians from around Perth, each integrating the BT4A Phender Roads in to their sets.
